Chasin' Mason Presents Bold, Fast-Paced Country/Pop Sound
August 12, 2005
MILWAUKEE - Chasin' Mason, a young, country music group performing today's hits, will bring the Wisconsin Lutheran College Summer Arts in the Park outdoor concert series to a close on Thursday, September 1 at 6:30 p.m. All Summer Arts in the Park concerts are free and take place at 8800 West Bluemound Road on the campus courtyard located between Bluemound Road and Wisconsin Avenue at 89th Street.
Chasin' Mason performs throughout the Midwest and recently appeared at Summerfest on the Briggs and Straton Big Backyard stage. "Chasin' Mason could certainly be the next Rascal Flatts: a country band with enough knowledge to keep one foot in the traditional and enough survival smarts to keep the other foot in step with modern country tastes," said Jon Gilbertson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. In case of rain, the concert will be held in the nearby Schwan Concert Hall. For more information, call the box office at (414) 443-8802 or visit the website at wlc.edu/arts.
