Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors dedicate football game to troops overseas

MILWAUKEE - The Wisconsin Lutheran College football team and cheerleaders are dedicating the October 22 home game against Albion College to U.S. Armed Forces stationed around the world. The teams will collect specific non-perishable items or financial donations to be distributed by Operation Gratitude to troops overseas for the holiday season. Kick-off at Raabe Stadium begins at 12 p.m.

Operation Gratitude is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that annually sends thousands of care packages to troops deployed in all parts of the world.

Fans are asked to bring care package items or financial donations to the October 22 game. Operation Gratitude has developed a predetermined list of appropriate items which are listed below.

If you are unable to attend the game but would like participate, donations will also be collected at WLC's Recreation Complex. Donations can be mailed to the following address:

Raabe Stadium is located in the Krauss-Miller-Lutz Athletic Complex at 10200 W. Watertown Plank Rd. Game tickets are available for purchase at the gate.
