National Handbell Festival at Wisconsin Lutheran College

MILWAUKEE – Handbell choirs from 55 Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) churches and schools will participate in the 32nd annual WELS National Handbell Festival April 9-10, 2011, at Wisconsin Lutheran College.
The two-day gathering of choirs from Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin will culminate in a free concert on Sunday, April 10.
The event's theme is "I Believe - Ringing the Apostles' Creed." The song selections, which all are related to the three articles of the Apostles' Creed, include Praise to the Lord, the Almighty; At the Lamb’s High Feast We Sing; A Mighty Fortress is Our God; and Jesus Shall Reign.
The 2 p.m. concert, which is open to the public, will take place in the Recreation Complex on the Wisconsin Lutheran College campus, 8800 W. Bluemound Road.
