MILWAUKEE – American pianist Jeffrey Siegel wraps up his 2009-2010 Keyboard Conversations® Series with "Chopin and the Future" on Wednesday May 12, 2010, at Wisconsin Lutheran College. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall.
This season, Siegel is "Celebrating Chopin" in his four-part series. Chopin is not only one of the most popular composers of all time but also one of the most influential. The program includes works of Chopin that both delight the ear and point to the future – Etudes and Nocturnes – as well as Chopinesque compositions of Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Scriabin, and Szymanowski.
Jeffrey Siegel is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
