WLC Senior Thesis Art Exhibition Opens April 9

MILWAUKEE – Beginning Friday, April 9, the graduating art majors at Wisconsin Lutheran College will present a final thesis exhibition. The nine seniors will display a variety of artwork, including photography, painting, sculpture and mixed media. Work will be on display throughout the Center for Arts and Performance, 8815 W. Wisconsin Ave. An opening reception April 9 from 6-8 p.m. will kick off this exhibition which runs through May 14.
The exhibition includes: Amelia Hahnke's Pen, Paper, Paint: A collection of illustrations for children (Raabe Theatre Lobby); Zachary Beierle's 3dimentional (Schlueter Gallery/Lobby); Out of Thin Air by Jacob Nell (Raabe Theatre Lobby); Caitlin Hartmann's Another Sun (Schlueter Gallery); A Typical Art Show by Ana Stern (Raabe Theatre Lobby); Amber Wittenburg's Green Table (Schlueter Gallery); and Petit Fours by Kirsten Huffman (Schwan Concert Hall Atrium).
