Wisconsin Lutheran College welcomes Night at the Oscars hosted by Shirley Jones

MILWAUKEE – Shirley Jones, singer and actress of stage, film and television, will host Night at the Oscars featuring the Hollywood Concert Orchestra on Friday, March 5, 2010. The performance begins at 8 p.m. in the Schwan Concert Hall with a dinner option at 6:30 p.m.
A Night at the Oscars, featuring the Oscar Award-winning singer/actress Shirley Jones, promises to be a memorable and magical red-carpet event! Ms. Jones was the original star of world-famous musicals such as Oklahoma and Music Man. The production also features beloved and unforgettable themes from Broadway and movies including suites from West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady, among many others. The Hollywood Concert Orchestra, an orchestra including 35 of America's finest musicians, is rapidly becoming one of the premier musical ensembles in the world. The entire evening will an unforgettable event as we spend an exciting Night at the Oscars.
A Night at the Oscars is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Arts Board and Waterstone Bank. The Schwan Concert Hall is located in the college's Center for Arts and Performance at 8815 W.
