Doo-Wop Daddies close out the Summer Arts in the Park free concert series (7/15/2009)
The Doo-Wop Daddies will perform as the last entertainers in the Summer Arts in the Park free concert series at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Thursday, August 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Doo-Wop Daddies capture the demanding vocal style of Doo-Wop music and oldies with unsurpassed excellence. Combining elements of vintage and cutting-edge music technology, these professional musicians present music of the 50s and 60s in a refreshing new style.
Pathways to College Enters Its Second Summer Program (7/6/2009)
Wisconsin Lutheran College is hosting a two-week summer program for Pathways to College July 6-17. The summer session is part of the year-long requirement of being in the Pathways program and focuses on math, science, public speaking, arts and athletics. The math component includes a robotics piece where the students build robots and design simple software to make them move.

Daniel Johnson was inaugurated last month as the third full-time president of Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, where he had been serving in the president's office since June 2008. Prior to his appointment, Johnson spent nine years as principal and head administrator of Arizona Lutheran Academy in Phoenix.

Scot Bruce and Mike Albert team up for a live performance in Blue Suede Shoes. The show combines Bruce's exciting impersonation of young Elvis along with Albert's talented portrayal of the mature Elvis for an impressive tribute to the King of Rock and Roll.

In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the birthday of author John Milton, the Wisconsin Lutheran College English department is hosting a marathon reading of Milton's famous work Paradise Lost and co-sponsoring a lecture by Dr. Michael McCanles. The marathon reading of Paradise Lost is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, February 21 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the Warrior Underground.

The program will consist of three full symphonies that were composed specifically for band. The concert begins with the introspective work, Symphony of Prayer, by J. The annual Warrior 5k… through the park will be held at Greenfield Park in West Allis on Saturday, November 8 at 10 a.m. This marks the sixth year of this race.
