Wireless
Student-owned wireless routers are not supported and may interfere with campus network functions.
Network Cables
Students must bring their own network cords.
Surge Protectors
Students should have a surge protector on all computers used in the residence halls. Inexpensive surge protectors ($20-$30) are available at Walmart, Kmart, and BestBuy. For greater protection, consider purchasing an APC Back-UPS unit (starting at approximately $50)
