Susan Marshall is an author, speaker, and president of Executive Advisor, LLC, an independent consulting firm founded in 1997 that specializes in leadership development and executive effectiveness. She has been assisting leaders in public and private sector industry, nonprofit agencies, and public education for nearly 30 years.
Through workshops, seminars, and personalized coaching, Susan focuses on the fundamental skills of critical thinking, decisiveness, clarity of communication, integrity of word and act, and consistency. Her book, How to Grow a Backbone, has been translated into multiple languages and is especially popular in Asia. She currently is at work creating The Backbone Institute.
