Financial Planning Education Program
Wisconsin Lutheran College is pleased to offer a financial planning curriculum that is CFP® Board-Registered. The WLC Financial Planning Education Program has been approved to help satisfy the education requirement for people interested in sitting for the CFP® examination. The curriculum is also appropriate for those who want to learn the best practices of the profession of financial planning.
What is the program?
In order to sit for the CFP® examination, applicants need to complete a CFP® Board-registered program or successfully be exempted from the program. Candidates need a bachelor's degree (or higher), or its equivalent from an accredited college or university. The degree or major does not need to be in business.
