Internship Program Description
The WLC Internship Program consists of temporary professional employment coinciding with academic work. All participating employers meet WLC's program guidelines, and all participating students are in good academic standing with a declared major.
To ensure employers are contributing to student goals and students are following employer guidelines, the WLC Internship Program strongly encourages performance feedback.
Internships are an excellent method for students to gain valuable experience that will further develop their interests, skills, and career goals.
Internships are invaluable. Here are three reasons to intern before you graduate:
- Learn more about a career and find out if it's the right fit for you.
- Apply classroom theory to a professional work setting.
- Build your professional network.
WLC Career Connect
We've made it easy for employers and WLC students to communicate directly to each other about internship opportunities. Employers are invited to upload internship openings to WLC Career Connect while students are encouraged to conduct their internship search via Career Connect.
