When Can I Intern?
- Must be a junior or senior
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must have developed a serious approach to work
- Best taken during semester(s) when you have a fairly light class load
Procedure
- See the internship coordinator to file an application
- Application should be submitted to the coordinator at the time you register for the credit
- Register for the ___490 at the normal registration time.
- 1 credit = 45 hours on site
- 2 credits = 90 hours on site
- 3 credits = 135 hours on site
- 3 credits may be applied to the major
- 6 credits may be applied to the 128 required credits
- The week after registration, schedule an appointment with the internship coordinator to begin site location selection
- Interview at possible site locations
