SPRING ALUMNI NETWORKING EVENT
Put away your laptop and cell phone for a few hours and experience the power of networking face-to-face over cocktails and a delicious grilled dinner. Join us on the roof-top patio overlooking the scenic golf course at Silver Spring Country Club in Menomonee Falls on Wednesday, May 21.
Enjoy cocktails and networking beginning at 5 p.m. The chef will be finished grilling and ready to serve a great dinner at 6 p.m. Following dinner get inspired to network from the evening’s guest speaker.

BREWERS OUTING
Good seats, great friends! Join your fellow alumni from Wisconsin Lutheran College in the stands at Miller Park for an exciting interleague contest between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Baltimore Orioles.
The first pitch will be thrown at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Loge bleacher seat tickets are just $22, and we’ll include a WLC T-shirt to wear to the game. Plus the first 15,000 fans 21 and older to enter the stadium will receive a free Brewers cap.
Order your tickets and t-shirts online by June 1. T-shirts will be mailed to you, along with your game tickets, on June 9.
Organize your own tailgate party, then join us in the stands for a fun Saturday night at the ballpark!
WARRIOR OPEN
Join us on August 16 for a great day on the links at the 2008 Warrior Open. Every golfer will not only enjoy a round of golf at The Bog, but will be outfitted from head to toe with a Wisconsin Lutheran College hat and Adidas golf shoes!
The driving range and putting green will be open and a lunch buffet ready for golfers at 11 a.m. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. The evening will conclude with dinner and awards at 6:30 p.m. Those who register by July 31 receive the $120 early bird rate. Those who register by August 8 will pay just $130 to participate. The registration fee includes:
- Adidas Beacon golf shoes (retail for $55)
- Wisconsin Lutheran College hat
- Lunch buffet
- Two drink tickets for beer, rail drinks or soft drinks to use throughout the day
- Unlimited range balls
- 18 holes with a cart (retails for $135)

Designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, The Bog is a stunning 18-hole, par 72, championship-style course that winds its way over 297 acres of wetlands, woods, rolling hills and wildlife habitat in Saukville. Hosted by the Wisconsin Lutheran College Alumni Relations Office, this outing is open to all friends of the college. Your participation as a golfer, hole sponsor or prize donor benefits the students of WLC.

ARE YOU GETTING YOUR MONTHLY {E} NEWSLETTER?
Although a monthly {e} newsletter has been mailed at least once a month for the past four years, as of late some alumni have remarked that they are no longer receiving it. In an attempt to ensure consistent communication between alumni and Wisconsin Lutheran College, a new style of email communication has been established beginning in April 2008. To be included on the mailing list for the new alumni {e} newsletter entitled, The Open Door, alumni should send their e-mail address to alumni@wlc.edu. The {e} newsletter provides the latest news alumni news and news from campus, as well as invitations to alumni events.

Updated montly, a link and password to WLC's alumni directory is emailed in the alumni {e} newsletter. To be included in the alumni directory or to update a current directory listing, please complete the online form. Only those alumni who give the college permission to print their contact information through the online form will be included in the directory. If you had previously completed the form and your contact information hasn't changed, there is no need to complete the form again. This directory is intended for personal communication amoungst alumni only, not for soliciations.
ALUMNI REUNIONS BASED ON ACTIVITIES
Many WLC graduating classes are either too small or too scattered around the country to offer individual reunions. In the hopes of getting alumni together who share the same interests, the college plans to offer something new - reunions based on activities alumni participated in while on campus. To make sure no one is excluded, the alumni office is asking for your assistance in gathering student activity information. By completing an online form, you will receive invitations as specific reunions occur. In addition to the usual events where all alumni are invited, reunion events are already being planned for RA’s, athletic teams, choir members and theatre participants. Don’t miss this opportunity to be invited!
