Science Instruction

This area of study is ideal for educators at all grade levels who currently teach science and desire to expand and update their science knowledge and skills to advance student achievement and increase student interest in science-related career choices.

Technology and leadership opportunities are integrated throughout the program and in a required practicum experience.

This 36 credit degree program can be completed in as little as two years and culminates with an action research project and creation of a portfolio. Students seeking initial teacher certification may need to complete additional coursework to meet state licensure requirements.
