Jim Hudzinski, music major with a theology minor ‘03, seminary student at the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois
I chose WLC because it was a Christian liberal arts college that offered both the program of study I was looking for and the financial assistance that made it possible for me to attend. WLC's location just minutes from my home in nearby West Allis was also a factor.
I found that my theology courses were some of my favorite general degree requirements. When I discovered how easy it was to add a theology minor to my program of study, I didn't hesitate to do so.
I am currently in my last year of seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Following graduation this May, I will be seeking a full-time pastoral ministry position.
The theology program at WLC provided me with a solid biblical foundation. On a very practical level, taking Old and New Testament Survey courses helped me test out of 8 graduate credits in seminary. Additionally, studying theology in the context of the liberal arts at WLC was excellent preparation for my studies at Trinity, where "Comprehensive Education" is a core value.
Adding a theology minor or second major to your intended program of study can be an easy way to enrich your education.
