Psychology Major: Required Courses
A major in psychology consists of at least 36 credits in psychology:
- PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology
- PSY 210 Psychological Research Methods
- PSY 260 Personality Theories
- PSY 395 History & Systems
- PSY 411 Experimental Psychology
Psychology Major: Collateral Requirement
- MAT 117 Statistics (this does not count toward the 36 credits for the major)
- At least seven electives in psychology
Psychology Minor: Required Courses
A minor in psychology consists of at least 21 credits in psychology:
- PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology
- PSY 210 Psychological Research Methods
- At least five electives in psychology
Psychology Teaching Major: Required Courses
A teaching major in psychology consists of 36 credits:
- PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology
- PSY 210 Psychological Research Methods
- PSY 260 Personality Theories
- PSY 395 History & Systems
- PSY 411 Experimental Psychology
Psychology Teaching Major: Collateral Courses
- MAT 117 Statistics. This does not count towards the 36 credits in psychology.
