Throughout my nursing career, I have had a strong focus and passion for Women's Health, Community Health, and Information Technology. I began my career working in obstetrics at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee in 2005. I continued my career there after graduating with my BSN in 2007. In the spring of 2011, I began my teaching career as an adjunct clinical instructor for WLC teaching adult health. Since then I have taught a variety of clinical rotations for WLC including obstetrics, community health, aging and long-term care, and foundations of nursing. I accepted a full-time call to WLC in 2012 and since then have had the wonderful opportunity to teach a wide variety of clinical and lecture courses. I completed my MSN in 2013 with a Clinical Nurse Leader focus. I obtained my online teaching certificate from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2014. I serve as the clinical coordinator and lab coordinator for the WLC nursing program and the faculty advisor for the WLC Student Nurses Association.

My husband, John, and I live in Slinger and have four children: Benjamin (2009), Sara Ann (2010), Abigail (2014), and Marah (2015). We are members at Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford.
