Master of Arts in Education program

The teacher education master's program at Wisconsin Lutheran College is designed to assist educators who seek to develop reflective practitioner and research-assessment skills and build their leadership capacity to advance professionally.

Graduate students learn how to plan for educational programming, apply instructional strategies, conduct assessment, and modify practice according to the needs of the organization and individual learners, all of which is shaped and embedded within a chosen specialty area.

The 36 credit degree program can be completed in as little as 24 months by taking one course every eight weeks. The program culminates with a two-semester action research project and creation of a portfolio.

Candidates for enrollment in the graduate program must have a bachelor's degree and should have teaching experience or have access to clinical experiences in the K-12 setting.
