History Collage

Study history with the solid foundation of Christ.

The study of history puts you in touch with significant past human achievements. Wisconsin Lutheran College offers a solid history degree showing how Christ is at the center of human history. Students have the option of focusing on either American or European history, allowing them to specialize in their area of interest.

Conduct meaningful research alongside faculty.

Students can take advantage of opportunities to conduct their own research projects as well as assisting with faculty research, including the study of ancient Christian history and colonial British America. Faculty members lead group trips to archives, national monuments and presidential libraries. In addition, students can join the student history club and become members in the national history fraternity Phi Alpha Theta.

Apply your history degree to your future career.

A major in history prepares a student for graduate work in this discipline. History is also a good foundation for a number of professional careers in law, business, government or education.
