Cost accounting manager at Steel Craft Corporation in Hartford, Wisconsin

I chose WLC the minute I set foot on campus. I felt extremely comfortable interacting with both the student body and faculty. Also being able to participate in a NCAA sporting program was a major draw. I grew up working in a family run business, so I knew I would study business before I arrived.

At WLC, I studied finance and management, much of which tie into my current job and day to day activities at Steel Craft Corporation in Hartford, Wisconsin, where I work as a cost accounting manager and Six Sigma Deployment Champion. Through classroom activities and internships, WLC's business program helped me understand the business in the real world. WLC also helped me to build my leadership abilities and assisted in my acceptance and completion of Marquette University's MBA program.

It is difficult to put a value on the small things that take place at WLC, but two things that come to mind are the internship opportunities and that professors are willing to work with you directly. They will even give you their home phone numbers.
