The President's Welcome Luncheon for the Class of 2024 has been canceled due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak. Admissions counselors will be contacting students to help them pre-register for classes and to answer any questions. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

A message from Lucas Faust '02, Vice President of Enrollment:

On Thursday, March 12, Wisconsin Lutheran College announced several actions to help limit the COVID-19 risk to our campus, our future Warriors and their families, our current students, and our faculty and staff. One of these actions pertains to requests made by the Wauwatosa Health Department and State of Wisconsin to limit large gatherings of individuals within the state.

As a result of this request, we are canceling the upcoming President's Welcome Luncheon for incoming freshmen, which was scheduled for Saturday, March 28. Please reach out to me if you have any hardship associated with this cancellation. To stay up to date on how WLC is monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and supporting the campus community, please visit wlc.edu/coronavirus

Despite the impact this virus is having on the world, it's still important to celebrate you, one of our future Warriors, and to make sure you are prepared for the exciting next chapter in your life. We are looking to bring some of the celebratory messaging and connections planned for the President's Welcome Luncheon to you in some creative ways. In addition to the celebration luncheon, I know that you may have been planning to use that day to take care of some important business: selection of your freshman courses and financial aid consultations. Your personal admissions counselor will be reaching out to you between now and March 28 to schedule time to work through your fall registration over the phone. I also encourage you to contact our Office of Financial Aid at 414.443.8856 to schedule time to discuss any of your financial aid questions.

The end to your senior year is sure to be memorable in many ways. As always, we are here to help you navigate some of these uncharted waters. Reach out to us any time with questions, thoughts, or even just to chat with a friendly supporter. You're part of our family, and we are so glad that we get to be a part of your journey!

Many blessings to you and your family in the weeks ahead!
