On Saturday, January 18, four high school jazz ensembles and guest artist Mike Tomaro will present a free concert at 7:00 p.m. as part of the 2020 Jazz Festival.

  • Wisconsin Lutheran High School

2020 Jazz Fest guest artist Mike Tomaro

WLC welcomes Mike Tomaro as head clinician and guest artist for the 2020 Jazz Festival. Tomaro is a saxophonist, composer, arranger, and educator based out of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area. He is Director of the Jazz Studies Program at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University, a position he has held since 1997. Tomaro has more than 200 published compositions and arrangements. His work can be heard on numerous recordings, including four of his own.​

The concert will take place in Wisconsin Lutheran College's Center for Arts and Performance - Schwan Concert Hall, 8815 W. Wisconsin Avenue. Call the Box Office at 414.443.8802 to reserve free general admission tickets.
