The dynamic duo of Julie Patchouli and Bruce Hecksel have created The Landscape of Guitar, a groundbreaking art and music production. Master guitarist Hecksel blends with vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patchouli to create a soulful fusion of blazing Spanish and world guitar rhythms, sparkling melodies and spine-tingling harmonies. Hecksel, also an acclaimed visual artist and painter, has created more than 100 vibrant paintings of “Guitar Landscapes,” glittering, stained glass-like, acrylic paintings where every element in the composition is a guitar with several variations on the theme of guitar-based art. Colors move and are brought to life through the animation of these paintings, which serve as the backdrop of the concert experience. The music and art go hand in hand to illustrate the concept that the whole world is constantly vibrating and “singing” and the great joy in joining in harmony with it. WATCH A SAMPLE VIDEO.
